BMC Schedule of future meetings
2003 Birmingham 7-10 April 2003 - responsible for all organization. To provide Chair and Secretary of Annual General Meeting, and to prepare agenda. To be hosts of Scientific Committee meeting, and to provide the secretary. Representatives of Birmingham leave this committee on 31 May 2003 (but one person to attend the meeting in October 2003 to report on the Birmingham meeting).
2004 Belfast 5-8 April 2004 - responsible for all organization. To provide Chair and Secretary of Annual General Meeting, and to prepare agenda. To be hosts of Scientific Committee meeting, and to provide the secretary.
Representatives of Belfast leave the committee on 31 May 2004 (but one person to attend the meeting in October 2004 to report on the Belfast meeting).
Members to be present in Birmingham to 'sell' their meeting.
2005 Liverpool 4-7 April 2005 - Joint meeting; formal invitation to be given to BMC General Meeting at Birmingham - with details of dates and general pattern of the meeting. Responsible for all organization in Liverpool. To provide Chair and Secretary of Annual General Meeting, and to prepare agenda. To be hosts of Scientific Committee meeting, and to provide the secretary.
Representatives of Liverpool leave the committee on 31 May 2005 (but one person to attend the meeting in October 2005 to report on the Liverpool meeting). Scientific Committee to nominate new Chairman to the General Meeting.
2006 Bids to be solicited; decision at Scientific Committee in Birmingham. (Bid expected from Newcastle) Representatives of the successful bid to join the Scientific Committee Meeting in October 2003.
Formal invitation to be made to the General Meeting in Belfast.
2007 Traditional BMC, probably in the south of England
2008 Possible further joint meeting with BAMC.
