Mary E Byrd publications

We list below a number of publications by Mary Emma Byrd. Only three of these papers are jointly authored, one with Mary Watson Whitney (who has a biography in this archive) and two with Harriet Williams Bigelow (1870-1934). Bigelow was a student of Mary Byrd, then her assistant and, after the award of a Ph.D. from the University of Michigan, she became director of Smith Observatory in 1906, replacing Mary Byrd.
