Social events included a cocktail party in the Piramida Restaurant and a trip to the Hungarian Opera (Ruggero Leoncavallo: Pagliacci). On Saturday 24 May there was an all-day trip to the salt mine at Turda (Torda), the historic town of Alba Iulia (Gyulafehérvár) and to Aiud (Nagyenyed)
